Autumn 2 Spelling lists
Following valuable feedback, we have decided to put a copy of our ‘Autumn 2 Spelling Overview’ onto our Blog. This will allow you to keep track of the spellings being covered week by week.
Each spelling list is made up of current topic words, a spelling rule and blue words. The blue words have been taken from the Year 3/4 National Curriculum word list.
Thank you in advance for your continued support at home with spellings,
Miss Shields and the Y4 team
Calling All Gardeners!
What? Gardening Club
When? Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes
Where? School Allotment
Our keen team of gardeners have harvested our crops and are looking for volunteers to help tidy, plant and generally take care of our allotment. If you would like to join us, see Mrs Twiby or Mr Yates or just turn up on the allotment Tuesday or Thursday lunchtimes.
See you there!
Hi, Mrs Twiby here. Our gardening club have been very busy. From our allotment, we have recently harvested, potatoes, onions and beetroot. Some Year 4 children have cooked or pickled the beetroot. It was delicious.
Our apple trees have also given us some delicious treats and the Nurture staff have been making apple crumble with children too.
Mr Yates will help the Eco Warriors decide what to plant next!
Passing the Tontine
