New Build
This week saw the fence completed that separates the old and new build. Diggers have appeared on site for the first time and our Project Manager, Stewart, informed us that over 4000 tonnes of soil will be moved from the new site of the school! We could not believe those numbers. 4000 tonnes!
The Department for Education are building us a brand new school. It is very exciting! The building will be ready in May 2027 and we will move in over the half term week. Demolition of the old building will then take a further 47 weeks and we will have a clear and complete site by spring of 2028, with a flat field and pitch for the very first time!
We have a CONSTRUCTION CREW who are visiting site every week meeting with Stuart the site boss for an update. Please keep an eye open for their messages.
We are delighted to share the flythrough for our new school build which the DFE have assured us will begin work in January 2026. We will move in over the summer of 2027. Have a look at the site surrounding the building and have a sneaky peak of the ground floor internally. Very exciting!
