The pupil premium gives schools extra funding to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils from reception to year 11.

The Government is currently providing a healthy free school meal for all children in FS2, Year 1 and Year 2. Pupil premium is an additional pot of money that can be claimed from central government per child which can make a huge difference to their time in school.

What is Pupil premium?

• It is an annual grant of £1345 per child once made available for six years regardless of any changes in circumstances
• It is available to every child whose parents are currently receiving welfare benefits
• Pupil premium can be used to pay for extra tuition, additional staffing, breakfast club, nurture, trips costs and lots more.
• Pupil premium can really make a difference to your child
